Install Video Driver:

 The drivers in the CD support the video drivers released by SIS530.
The following instructions give details about how to install the appropriate drivers.
For SIS530 Video drivers: 

Windows NT:

If your OS is Windows NT and you decide to install SIS530 Video

drivers, the procedures are listed as follows.

1. Go to Start button, select Setting item.

2. Choose Control Panel item, select display icon.

3. Choose Setting item.

4. Select Display Type button.

5. Press the “change” button in Adapter Type

6. Press the “Have Disk” button

7. Type in the appropriate directory path where the SIS530 VGA driver 

   exists D:\SIS530\WINNT4(identify your Drive Letter first) or use the browser 
to search the right directory path .

8. Press OK button and follow prompts. It will complete the driver installation .

									         
Install Audio Driver:

Installs the drivers that support the on-boarded audio devices only.

(NOTES: If CD PRO does not detect any on-boarded audio devices, this button will

not be shown.)

For ESS solo1 Audio Driver:

The drivers in the CD support the audio drivers released by ESS. You can 

select the option of “install Audio Driver” and click then it will auto install Audio driver for 
mainboard or you can follow instructions show you more details about how to install 
 
appropriate drivers

									         
     
     
Install LAN Driver:

 Installs the drivers required for the Realtek 8139C on-boarded network devices.

For Realtek 8139C:    
    
Windows 95:

If your OS is Windows 95 and you decide to install the Realtek 8139C drivers, the 

procedures are listed as follows.

1. Enter the Control Panel in, double-click the Network icon.

2. Click the Add button and press the Add button after the adapter be selected. 

3. Select “Have Disk” after insert the CD PRO disk into the drive selected.

4. Type x:\Realtek 8139C\W95OSR and click OK.

5. Select "RTL8139(A/B/C/8130)PCI Fast Ethernet NIC" from the list of available drivers and click OK.

6. Follow any prompts for Windows 95 installation disks and restart when prompted. 

Windows 98:

If your OS is Windows 98 and you decide to install the Realtek 8139C drivers, 

the procedures are listed as follows.

1.      Enter Device Management in under Windows 98 Operating system.

2.      Select the item of PCI Ethernet controller and remove it then reboot .

3.      Follow the “add New Hardware Wizard” to setup the Ethernet adapter, click the next button when the prompt is shown , 
select the “Search for the best driver for your device” and click next
4.  Press the Browser button to search the path “D:\Realtek 8139C\win98”  
5.  Follow any prompts for Windows 98 installation disks and restart when prompted.


Windows NT:

If your OS is Windows NT and you decide to install the Realtek 8139C drivers, 

the procedures are listed as follows.

1.In the Control Panel, double-click the Network icon.If you first time to install LAN driver ,
you should be follow the Network Setup Wizard to identify the LAN card on board , if not,
 follow the process give details about how to install the appropriate drivers.

2. Enter the Control Panel in, double-click the Network icon.

3. Click the Add button when select the Adapters tab .

4. press the “Have Disk” icon before insert CD PRO disk into drive selected.

5. Type x:\Realtek 8139C\Winnt4 and click OK.

6. Select " RTL8139(A/B/C/8130)PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter " from the

  list of available drivers and click OK.

7. Click the OK button while the Duplex mode prompt shows.            

8.You may be prompted for network configuration information by Windows

  NT4. Seek help from your network administrator if you don't know what  to set.

9.In the Network Settings Change window, click Yes to restart your computer.                                                                                         

                                                                                                                                        
Patch file for Win95
Install USB Driver:

The USB Driver allows the system to recognize the USB ports on the mainboard.
 You need to install the USB driver if you are running the windows 95. the Driver is available for:

1.          WINDOWS 95 àD:\USB\setup.exe

(even though you do not get any indication that you need reboot).

 2.  WINDOWS 95 àD:\USB\usbsupp.exe

(even though you do not get any indication that you need reboot).

3.  WINDOWS 95 àD:\USB\usbupd2.exe

(even though you do not get any indication that you need reboot).

Note:  all of these executables need to be run in order to have a

       fully operational installation of USB AND a reboot must occur

       after each exe is run . If you do not perform these reboots,

       unpredicatable results may occur.

									          				
AMD CPU patch:
Note:  If your CPU is AMD K6-2 350MHz or above for Windows 95, please update

       this file (Amdk6upd.exe) in Windows 95 , If you do not perform this

file,unpredicatable results may occur. If you want to install Windows 95 with

       CPU : AMD K6-2 350MHz or above, you have to adjust the CPU frequence to 300 MHz.
