SYMPTOMS
========

Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) servers may intermittently generate a "Stop
0x0000000A" error message on a blue screen with the following parameters:

   0x0000001d 0x00000002 0x00000001 0xf0a0c26e

This occurs only if a post-Service Pack 6 (SP6) hotfix for Netbt.sys has been
installed on the computer.

CAUSE
=====

This error message is caused by a code regression in the hotfix for Q269239.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
