SYMPTOMS
========

If you click a topic marked with an animation icon in the Pinpointer in
Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 99, the animation may not be played.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the topic is not located on the Encarta CD-ROM.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia
99.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Any media topic that is not located on the Encarta CD-ROM is marked with an
animation icon in the Pinpointer. However, most topics marked with an animation
icon in the Pinpointer are located on the Encarta CD-ROM.
