kind publication listing Windows®-based K-12 products and 
Compaq computer systems. This Guide is designed to help K-12 
educators, like you, find Windows-based solutions for your 
curriculum and administrative needs. The publication comes 
from the Windows School Connection, an alliance of leading 
educational software developers, sponsored by Compaq Computer 
Corporation and Microsoft Corporation.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE:
As you read through the Guide, you will see a large 
selection of education software products and 
a wide range of Compaq computer systems. To find a 
product to fit a specific curriculum need or grade 
level, we suggest that you use the product matrix in 
the front. If you know the product name, you can locate 
it easily by using the product index in the back. And 
for further information on Microsoft® or Compaq products 
and services, please refer to the Educator Information 
Resource List. 

The number of Windows-based education products is 
growing every day. The Education Product Guide includes 
more than 860 products from 80 publishers which is more 
than double the number just six months ago.
