ICP Release Notes:

1. The SMS International Client Packs (ICPs) are cumulative.
Therefore, any client language that exists in a previous ICP will
also exist in all subsequent release (e.g. ICP 4 includes all the
client languages that existed in ICP1, ICP2, and ICP3 as well as the
languages introduced in ICP4).

2. ICPs are only to be installed on the English SMS site servers.
Installation of any ICP on any other SMS server language is not
supported.

3. ICPs are not un-installable. If you decide you want to revert
your system back to its stated previous to the ICP installation you
must reinstall your English SMS site server.

4. In SMS 2.0 all of the client languages contained in the ICP are
installed at the same time and are not individually installable.
For example, if you want to install an Italian SMS client you must
use ICP2 which contains all the languages of ICP1 and ICP2.

5. In the case that the file contained in the ICP has the same file
name as a bug fixed (QFE'd) file on the SMS site server that fixed
file will be overwritten and therefore the fix will be lost when
the ICP is installed. For example, if the Swdist32.exe file has
been updated to a newer version containing a bug fix and the ICP is
subsequently installed the file will be overwritten and the bug fix
will not be available any longer. An ICP version of the Swdist32.exe
file containing the bug fix is required to regain the bug fix
functionality.

6. The WBEM files within the bundles WBEMCORE.EXE and WBEMSDK.EXE
are not localized and as such WBEM should be installed using the /s
command line option in local language environments. This should
also be done if WBEMcore.exe is being installed for HealthMon. This
will potentially result in some WBEM generated messages or dialogs
appearing in English at runtime.

7. There are localized WBEM utility files available for French and
German Windows NT4 SP4 systems which are located in the
\Support\WbemUtil\<processor>\<language ID> directories. These are
only to be used in the case where a localized client system user
requires the localized version instead of the English version
already present on the client system.

8. HealthMon: The HealthMon Console does not work without having
the correct language version of MMC 1.1 installed. Localized
versions of MMC 1.1 are not shipped within the SMS ICPs. Localized
versions of MMC can be attained from:
http://www.microsoft.com/management/mmc

9. To display non-1252 codepage languages (e.g. Czech, Greek,
Hungarian, Polish, Russian, and Turkish) data in the Admin UI the
English Remote Admin UI must be installed on the targeted local
language version operating system (e.g. NT4 SP4 Hungarian) for the
targeted site server.

10. To distribute an Unattended Upgrade of Windows 95 to Windows 98
for Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, and Turkish using the
Win98.SMS file located at \smssetup\SCRIPTS\<lang ID>\PDFSTORE\LOAD
you will need to modify the command line in the section
[win95unattended] to read "CommandLine=setupcor.exe w95to98.inf".

11. The list below describes which languages are supported within
each ICP. The directory names, which contain the language ID in
their last 4 digits, will help you locate the language specific
files on your CD and/or SMS installation.
