SYMPTOMS ======== When a user tries the following operations, blue screen might appear indicating a system failure. - Tried to save a presentation file which contains rotated characters in PowerPoint97. - Tried to display rotated characters in applications. CAUSE ===== Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 will install WIN32K.SYS which may trigger a symptom above when Win32 API GetGlyphOutline is executed. This symptom will occur not only with PowerPoint 97 application but also with other applications that offers a capability to handle character rotation calling for GetGlyphOutline API.
