Dear DevCast viewer: We are changing our broadcast model, to bring you regular, convenient and more frequent shows focused on Microsoft products, solutions and new technologies. These new programs will be coming your way under the name Microsoft® TV. Microsoft TV launches with our first broadcast (US, Canada) on Tuesday November 1, 1994. The show covers Windows NT-based distributed computing solutions, and is primarily for IS professionals. New shows are 1 hour long and broadcast on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. [For Europe/UK we plan a pilot launch beginning Nov 2 via Intelsat, with expanded coverage beginning in early 1995]. The November 15th show will focus on developing enterprise information systems using Microsoft Office hosted on an Windows NT backend. Microsoft TV programs are broadcast on popular Ku band satellite Galaxy 7, transponder 16. Shows are not encrypted so you can view directly in your offices or at permanent host viewing sites. Our program guide for November/December 1994 shows is posted at ftp.microsoft.com in the \services\mstv directory. Thanks for your interest in DevCast. We hope you will join us for Microsoft TV.
