SYMPTOMS
========

If you open the MSN, The Microsoft Network, Sign-In screen, change the service
type, and then click Connect, the MSN access number is dialed and it appears
that a connection is established, but nothing else happens.

CAUSE
=====

When the Sign-In screen is open, the correct transport software is not loaded
when you change service types.

RESOLUTION
==========

After you change the service type, close the Sign-In screen and then open it
again.

MORE INFORMATION
================

If you change the service type by using the Settings button on the Sign-In
screen, you receive a message indicating that you need to close the Sign- In
screen and open it again before you connect.
