1. The New Day

Akiko: Then what the heck was the prequel?
Cassy: Book Zero.

This is the first book that I plan to do with Alex and Helena

Disclaimer I do not own any of Techmo's characters but my oc's are my idea's

Kyo: Of course you don't have to worry about that, because "Techmo" doesn't even exist!

Takes place after All My Heart

The Power of Love

Helena and Alex were sleeping in Helena's room well Helena was asleep but Alex was wide awake thinking about his new girlfriend.

Miyu: We're off to a wonderful start.
Akiko: "They were asleep! Never mind, only she was asleep!"
Kyo: Never mind, we'll just get slammed into their bedroom with no freakin' context!

It had only been ten hours since they had said their true feelings to each-other and Alex couldn't be happier because lying right next to him was his dream girl 'she looks so peaceful when she's sleeping. God how did I get so lucky ? ' he thought to himself

Jessie: Because plot bullshit made it happen.
Kyo: Chemistry? Who the hell needs that useless crap?

meanwhile Helena was dreaming about her new boyfriend.

Cassy: *flatly* Of course she is.

Helena's dream

Helena and Alex were sitting on a beach holding each-other and kissing lightly.

Miyu: *adjusts glasses* So it's just like real life, only dumber.

Then they both stood up and went into the water Alex was wearing forest green swim trunks and nothing else Helena was looking him over. His broad shoulders well toned muscles and his handsome face with those brown eyes and his short brown hair.

Jessie: *with a megaphone* Who the fuck cares?!
Cassy: He's handsome, ladies! Too bad that he's taken! Swoon over him!
Akiko: *yawns* Please. Zaku's cuter.
Cassy: Bit biased, huh?
Akiko: Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, Cass.
Miyu: Something tells me that this is yet another idealized self-insert.
Kyo: Of course it is, Miyu. We can't have flab on our Gary Stus, you know.

She was so happy because she now had someone she could love and loved her back. Helena looked down into the water and saw her reflection she was wearing the same swimsuit she wore after she escaped from Donovan.

Kyo: And if you don't know what that looked like, too bad! Get a crystal ball or something!
Miyu: It's just a red two-piece bikini.
Cassy: Yeah, she wore that in her "Dead or Alive 3" ending.

The waves made a calming sound as they hit the shore and the sky suddenly turned dark and a dark figure grabbed Alex and crushed him into nothing.

Jessie: If only this fic told us that it wasn't a dream.

The real world

Miyu: *adjusts glasses* Well, this fic isn't living in it.

Back in bed Alex could feel Helena moving around and then. "Alex" Helena screamed hot tears rushing down her face.

Cassy: Why the hell is this fic turning her into a damsel?
Kyo: Because women can never be stronger than a man in fics like these.
Akiko: Seriously? Ugh.
Kyo: I know, I hate it, too. We all hate it.

Alex immediately wrapped his arms around her and said " Helena calm down I'm right here." Helena returned the hug and held Alex tight not wanting to let go "Are you alright Helena ?" Alex asked in a worried tone. She looked at his face and said " I am now." "You sure?" "Yes just a bad dream nothing to worry about my love." Alex looked into her green eyes and knew she

wasn't ok

Akiko: Did the fic hiccup?
Jessie: No. It threw up.

"Helena I know that look so please tell me what got you so sad."

Cassy: Aside from the fact that she's in this fic?

Helena knew Alex loved her too much to let this go so " I was having a lovely dream you and I were at a beach having a great time and then you were taken from me and there was nothing I could do to save you!" She started crying again.

Kyo: She wouldn't be crying over this stupid shit. She's way OOC.
Miyu: And this fic really loves its run-on sentences.

Alex then put his right hand under her chin and made sure she was looking into his eyes.

Akiko: And then he hypnotized her.
Jessie: Again.

" Helena listen to me very carefully I am not going anywhere and nothing is going to keep me away from you.

Jessie: That sounds more like a threat than a declaration of love. Yikes.

Helena I love you and I will never leave you this I swear this on my very soul." Helena knew Alex meant every word he just said and then pulled him into a long passionate kiss. It lasted for a minute and when they stopped Helena said " Alex when I lost my mom I never thought I'd feel joy ever again but then I met you and my heart began to heal

Cassy: No.

you made me remember that there is more to life then revenge

Cassy: No!

you are the man I love and I'm yours forever."

Cassy: No! No, no, no!
Kyo: All hail the healing penis.
Akiko: I think I just imagined that as a magic wand.
Kyo: *laughs*
Jessie: I could've sworn that her reason for living swooped in and stopped her from committing suicide.
Cassy: And then she gave him the title and prize money. Yep. Basically, the Stuthor just erased Zack's canon actions to prop his self-insert up.
Akiko: He really is that kind of guy. That kind of selfish guy.

Alex pecked Helena on the lips and then the pair got out of bed and headed down stairs to get breakfast.

Jessie: It wasn't food.
Miyu: *laughs weakly, sighs* There are times that I wish I wasn't shot into space...

6:00 am

Alex was in the kitchen making them breakfast while Helena went to check her messages.

Akiko: *flatly* Thrilling.

She was hoping her half sister Kokoro would try to contact her but it has been a year since she has seen her. "Still no word from your sister?" Alex asked knowing Helena was worried about her. He could relate before he lost his family he had a twin sister named Julie. He was always a little overprotective of her when they were playing outside.

Kyo: Holy damn, we're going to get our skulls cracked by the exposition anvil.
Jessie: Note how the dead twin's a woman.
Kyo: Sorry, Jess. You know how it goes in Stu fics. Your gender's gotta be stuffed into the nearest fridge.
Miyu: Technically, his whole immediate family was killed, but we get your point.

The memories left him as quickly as they came

Akiko: ...because we needed the dead sister for random mangst...
Cassy: Dude? Your boyfriend...
Akiko: Oh. Forget that I said that. You didn't hear that from me.

and then he had an idea. " Hey Helena why don't we go find her?"

Kyo: Oh, sure, hop in like you're driving the damn Mystery Machine. That'll be easy.

Helena was caught off guard by this and was about to respond when ' phone ringing'

Miyu: How convenient.
Akiko: And cheesy. "Phone ringing"?

Helena picked up the phone " Hello" a very familiar voice answered "Helena I need your help." it was her sister. " Kokoro!?" " Yes Helena it's me I wanted to talk but I wasn't sure what to say. But right now I need your help my mother is missing and I don't know where she is!" Helena didn't know what to say but she knew she had to help. "Ok I'll help but where are you?" "I'm at the east end airport ."

Akiko: Is that a real place?
Miyu: Yes, it is. It looks like we're going to Saskatchewan, Canada!

"Ok I'll be there in an hour ." "Thanks Helena this means a lot to me." "It's nothing my little sister see you in an hour." "Ok" Helena hung the phone up and turned to Alex but before she could say anything Alex spoke " When do we leave ?"

Kyo: Wait, what the fuck?! Were you listening on the other end, you creepy ass stalker?!

Helena knew better then to try to tell Alex to stay put so she answered " Ten minutes."

Cassy: Because how dare you tell a man what to do!
Akiko: I don't think that the writer thought about this stuff...
Cassy: Context is a lost thing, dude.

He nodded " Alright I guess breakfast can wait. Now let's get ready." The two then got their clothes together and headed to Helena's bathroom "It will take to long to take turns so we'll have to shower together." Helena said. Alex was a little nervous about this with Helena having a perfect body Alex was a little worried he might lose control of himself.

Kyo: *in a low voice* You make me sick.
Miyu: We're dealing with a missing person. He's thinking with his penis. This is not going well.

Helena seemed to know what he was thinking and said " It's ok Alex I trust you."

Jessie: I sure as shit don't.

He nodded and they entered the bathroom got undressed and stepped into the shower. The two of them quickly cleaned up and then dried off and got dressed.

East end Airport 7:00 am

Miyu: Mai and Axl have relatives in Saskatchewan.
Jessie: In which city?
Miyu: Saskatoon.

Note Alex is wearing a black leather jacket with a white long sleeve shirt, blue jeans , Shades with reflective green lenses with a gold frame and white and red running shoes. Helena is wearing her second costume in doa 4

Kyo: *as the Stuthor* I'm wearing these awesome clothes! Also, fuck you, you better remember what she wears in the games or you're boned. No, I'm not gonna tell you the description, either!
Miyu: I'm going to quote the description from the Dead or Alive Wikia here. It's a... *reads* "Red-and-gold, puff sleeve jacket with a metal collar, a blouse worn under the jacket, a pair of pants, leather boots, a legband around her right thigh, and gold bangles on her wrists."
Cassy: And her hairbow?
Miyu: It's red. Why?
Cassy: Her outfits came with different colored hairbows until the fifth game, where that became a black one.
Miyu: I see.

Helena and Alex stepped out of the car and went inside the airport. Helena look around and then she saw her sister. "Kokoro" She said, Kokoro looked over and saw Helena and someone she didn't recognize. "Helena you came" Kokoro said happily and then ran and gave her sister a hug. Helena was surprised at this but quickly returned the hug. After they let go Helena was smiling and then looked to and then introduced Kokoro to Alex. "Kokoro this is Alex my..." Kokoro quickly guessed "Body guard ?" Helena shook her head and then Alex spoke up " No I'm her boyfriend."

Akiko: Unfortunately.

Kokoro was a little confused but quickly recovered and said " Oh you two look so cute together."

Kyo: *exhales a small blast of fire*
Cassy: Uh-oh. That's a first, dude. You're turning into a dragon before our eyes, huh?
Kyo: Probably. And I'm not in the mood to watch a bunch of random characters shill this boring as fuck couple as soon as they come into contact with them.
Akiko: Yeah, about that...
Kyo: You read ahead, didn't you?
Akiko: *nods* I don't know anything else in this fic. I know that they will be shilled, but I don't know who's going to shill them.
Kyo: Merde. (Shit.)

both Helena and Alex blushed a little but then Helena said " come on let's get in the car." and the three of them headed to the car. But in the rafters a ghostly figure was watching them and spoke into his wrist " Sir I have them beginning the mission."

Jessie: Wait, what?
Cassy: Time for contrived drama.
Miyu: Oh, this is going to end poorly.

2. A Ghost In the Shadows

7:10 am

Helena , Alex , and Kokoro are driving back to the mansion. "So Kokoro when did you hear from your mother last ?" Helena asked her sister. Kokoro was about to speak when a large bang followed by a bright flash of light when the light was gone see noticed that both she and Helena were tied to a tree and the car was upside down. Then they both heard laughter Helena's eyes widened in fear she knew that laugh all too well it was Christie's.

Kyo: What the hell?
Jessie: Why is all of this shit happening at seven in the fucking morning?!
Akiko: I have no clue, Jess.
Cassy: Dude, Rory and I are from California. If this took place over there, that would be happening during the morning rush hour. It doesn't matter if it's happening on the nearest freeway or on a residential street. Someone would be seeing this stuff. Holy crap, that's some bad assassination work.
Miyu: Don't worry, Cassidy. We already have a character assassination taking place at this very moment.
Cassy: No kidding. Christie's supposed to be a stealthy assassin. She wouldn't go into theatrics like that.

"Well well well here I am trying to kill you both one at a time but you two saved me the trouble of hunting you down." Christie said wickedly "I knew I should have killed you last time Christie I won't fail to do so this time!" Helena said the anger clear in her voice.

Kyo: And when the hell was that?
Akiko: Beats me. I must've missed that memo.
Cassy: Nah, it was probably during the fourth tournament.

Christie then walked up to Helena and backhanded her across the face. "You know I'm going to enjoy killing you slowly." She then turned to Kokoro and said "Just like I did to your mother." Kokoro then started crying.

Jessie: Wait, Kokoro's mother is actually alive.
Cassy: And she works for DOATEC. Why would Donovan want to off one of his own employees?
Miyu: Well, this chapter was written before "Dead or Alive 5" was actually released.
Jessie: I see.

"Oh don't worry the both of you will be meeting them very soon." She started laughing again so much that she didn't even notice Alex's fist coming right at her.

Akiko: Worst. Assassin. Ever.
Kyo: And we're riffing with Jess here.
Jessie: Oh, bite my camo covered ass.

The punch sent Christie flying into a nearby tree, "I don't think so you bitch !" Alex roared in anger.

Miyu: Are we watching an "Alien" movie?

Christie was shocked at the force of the hit she then got up and said, "Look I don't know who you are but if you leave right now I just might let you l" before she could even finish her threat Alex grabbed her by the throat.

Akiko: *sarcastically* Our hero.
Miyu: I think this fic is starting to hit the "accidental sexist" buttons.
Kyo: Which buttons?
Miyu: All of the buttons.

"You don't know me but I know you and trust me you just made a big mistake bitch and I promise you this it will be the last mistake you ever make." Alex was about to snap her neck

Akiko: *sarcastically* Our hero!
Kyo: Yeah, it's one thing if you have to stop someone from killing the person that you love, but... whoo, he's turning into a real asshole here.

when Helena yelled "Alex behind you!" He dropped Christie and dodged the black panther pouncing toward him. "Well this will be fun to watch go get him my pet." she ordered the big cat.

Jessie: Are you fucking kidding me?! Christie would never send out her pet panther like it's a Pokémon!
Cassy: *facepalms* This is happening at seven in the morning. Seven. In. The. Morning.
Akiko: I'm surprised that a police helicopter hasn't shown up yet. We have explosions, folks tied to trees, a giant panther... by the way, where are they?
Miyu: A white space. Also, it surely can't get any more nonsensical than this.

Alex put two of his fingers to his mouth ' like when you call a dog' a split second later a loud roar echoed in the panther's ear's then it rushed at Alex but was sent flying by a large chrome tail. Helena and Kokoro looked to see what looked like a metallic Velociraptor . "Helena Kokoro meet raptor."

Cassy: *throws her hands up* Oh, come on!
Miyu: *sighs* That's what I get for tempting fate.
Kyo: Was this guy playing "Ninja Gaiden 3"?
Jessie: A robotic raptor... that's named... Raptor. What the hell?
Akiko: I can't wait to show folks my fox that's named Fox!

Alex said, he then turned to Christie and her pet. "Miss bitch

Cassy: "Miss Bitch". Nice nickname, Mister Smegma.
Jessie: *spits her tea out*
Miyu: Yikes.

meet your doom. I'd kill you myself but then I'd have to clean the blood off my jacket and that is a major pain in the ass so raptor sick'em."

Kyo: This guy's trying so hard to sound cool, but he just comes off as an asshole. I sort of want to punch him.
Cassy: "Sort of"?
Kyo: Okay, I really want to punch him. I want to punch him a lot.

and within seconds the panther was ripped to bloody pieces but before he could reach Christie she disappeared into thin air.

Miyu: Did she... just turn into a ninja?
Cassy: It's way too early to start drinking.
Jessie: *as she pours some bourbon into her tea* No, it's not.
Akiko: Uh... I'm pretty sure that this is animal abuse.
Kyo: It's okay, he's the protagonist. *laughs weakly, stops* Oh, I hate this asshole.

Alex then went to untie Helena and Kokoro. "Are you two alright ?" Alex asked them, Kokoro then fell to her knees crying

Kyo: ...because she was in this mess of a fic.

Helena rushed to her side and held her tightly and said to her sweetly "Kokoro you have no reason to trust that bitch." "I'm afraid she does ." a voice from out of nowhere said , Alex knew that voice all too well "Ghost! Man what the hell are you doing here ?" A person then jumped out of a tree and landed feet first on the ground. He looked a little shorter then Alex also one or two years younger than Alex. He had short black hair , pale skin, greyish blue eyes and was wearing some form of body armor which was black but had yellow lights on it.

Jessie: *with a megaphone* Who the fuck cares?!
Akiko: Uh... uh... is this guy supposed to be important? And did the plot just stop?
Miyu: Number one, no. Number two, there's no plot.

Ghost turned to Alex and said "Oh you know war-machine a little of this a little of that oh and I'm also here on a mission to find you." Helena interrupted "Wait war-machine Alex why did he call you that ?" Alex sighed and said

Cassy: *as the Stu* ...I can't wait to stick you back into the kitchen where you belong.
Akiko: I don't like this guy.

" It's my codename you remember what I told you last year ? Well every sentinel has a codename and war-machine is mine."

Miyu: Oh, no. Marvel is going to sue you...

Ghost then spoke up "Oh I get this is why you've been busy Ha I win the bet !" Alex then said "Bet ? What Bet ?" Ghost responded " Mad spark I and made a bet on where you were.

Jessie: Who the hell is Mad Spark?! Why are we supposed to care about that guy and this guy?!
Kyo: Beats me, Jess.

He bet you got yourself killed I bet you found a nice girl and I was right as if anyone could kill the war-machine."

Cassy: If only the former actually happened.
Jessie: Bad writers can never kill off their own self-inserts.
Kyo: On the other hand, bad writers don't need to put any effort to have their characters undergo any sort of development.

" Thanks man so what are you here to tell me ?" Ghost then said " Oh right well command has sent me to tell you that they have decided to allow you to stay where you are and that you are to help miss Douglas in killing Victor Donovan and after that is done you are to assist her in fixing Doatec for the better.

Akiko: *hands out a coupon that says "One Free Plot"* Here's your plot coupon. Please continue to ruin the canon progress that Miss Douglas has made in her own series.
Jessie: *scoffs* As if that shit would ever happen. One person in a whole military set isn't going to do all of that by himself.

Also they send congratulations on killing Titian and say they approve of your relationship with Helena not that you need or want their approval but they asked me to pass it along ."

Kyo: *exhales fire*
Jessie: *looks up* Well, you just set my tea on fire. *blows the fire out* Guess it's a Flaming Kyo instead of a Flaming Moe now.
Cassy: Wait, won't that actually distract him from his mission? He's in love with the person that he's supposed to work with.
Miyu: If this was a fic that had effort put into it, that would be a decent side plot.

Alex nodded then said " So when do you need to head back ?" Ghost responded " Right away sadly but I'll keep in touch ."

Akiko: Don't. You'll just stop the nothing plot again.

Ghost then was nowhere to be seen Alex then helped Helena get Kokoro to her feet. Helena then turned to raptor then looked at Alex " Umm is this your pet ?" " Yes" Then he turned to raptor and said " Raptor pet mode ." the cyber-organic Dino they changed into a smaller more infant like raptor. " Good boy raptor ."

Kyo: What kind of Tekken bullshit is this?

He then looked at Helena and asked " Is that better darling ?" Helena looked at raptor and said

Cassy: *as Helena* No, it's not, you idiot. You just ripped a panther apart!

" Yes now how do we get the car turned over ?" " Hello I'm a super soldier ." he then flipped the car back on its wheels and then the four of them got in and drove off .

Miyu: Never mind the broken windows, the lopsided seats, the dented doors, and the gasoline that's probably leaking out of the damn tank. Just flip the stinking car over. It'll be all peachy.

Helena's mansion 9:00 am

Helena was trying comfort Kokoro with little success while Alex with raptor's help was cooking breakfast

Jessie: It cooks?!
Cassy: Guess it's not too early to start drinking. Gimme your tea, dude.
Jessie: No. Go away.
Kyo: I'm going to ask this question again. What kind of Tekken bullshit is this?
Akiko: You're not going to get a good answer from us, Kyo-chan. We're just as stumped as you are.

" So what do you guys feel like ?" Helena was about to say something when Kokoro asked " What can you make ?" " Well I can whip up some home fries , and bacon also I can make some ice tea"

Miyu, Jessie: *unimpressed* That's it?

Helena and Kokoro said that sounded great. Alex then said " Alright raptor let's get cooking ."

Kyo: *gets an apron* Pfft. We've whipped up a lot better in the past.
Cassy: *looks at Kyo's apron* "I burn everything but the food." Heh.

Two hours later

All: *stunned*
Akiko: *as her bangs move to the side* It took him two hours to make fries and bacon?!

" Oh Alex that was great ." Helena said Alex smiled " You know me I aim to please ."

Cassy: Are we still on the food or did we skip to the sex part?
Miyu: *adjusts glasses* It's both. The food and the sex are absolutely atrocious.
Manic: *plays a rimshot*
Cassy: Thanks, dude.
Manic: Yep!
Jessie: Please tell me that the meat wasn't from the panther...
Akiko: I'm never eating anything that he makes from now on.

Kokoro then spoke up " Umm so I hate to be a pain here but where do I go now ."

Kyo: Get out of the fic! Save your sanity!

Helena then said to her sister " You are more then welcome to stay here with us ." " Oh I couldn't let you do that ." " I really want you to stay . We are sisters this is as much your home as it is mine ." Kokoro then gave her big sister a hug and said " Thank you so much Helena ." she hugged her sister back.

Jessie: And now that the "conflict" is over...

Then Alex spoke " I'll get her bags from the car ." Helena nodded and Alex went to get Kokoro's things. Helena put Kokoro in the room right across from her and Alex's room. " How's she doing ?" Helena turned to Alex " She is sleeping but you and I both know that this kind of pain never really leaves ." she said sadly, Alex then kissed Helena on the lips and said " I know but I promise I'll do whatever I can to help ." " I know you will but remember I'm yours forever and always ." he smile and said " And I'm and yours forever and always ."

Cassy: *gags*
Akiko: I think my blood sugar just spiked.

the pair then headed down stairs and went outside to the backyard sat on the soft couch swing and kissed passionately for a while then cuddled together thinking of what lies ahead for them.

Kyo: I hope it's their impending doom.
Miyu: That's not happening.
Kyo: Fine. He dies and she gets her canon personality back.
Miyu: ...that's not happening, either.
Kyo: Damn it.
